Retail Banking, Wholesale Banking, Treasury, Other Banking, Life Insurance, General Insurance, and Others segments make up its business. The business provides time, fixed, recurring, and security deposits in addition to savings, salary, pension, current, and other accounts. In addition, it offers credit, debit, prepaid, travel, and corporate cards, loans for new entities, card swipes, and schools and colleges, home, car, two-wheeler, personal, gold, and commercial business loans, loans against securities and other loans, business loans, including working capital finance, term loans, collateral free loans, loans without financials, finance for importers and exporters, and overdraft facilities.

Based on the tenets of "Fair to Customer, Fair to Bank" and "One Bank, One ROE," ICICI Bank seeks to increase core operating profit in a risk-adjusted way.The Bank's approach to granularly expanding its loan portfolio is driven by a focus on risk and reward, with major objectives include returning capital and keeping provisions below a certain percentage of core operating profit.

The bank introduced "ICICI STACK for Corporates" during the year, providing thorough solutions to businesses and the people who make up their ecosystems, including channel partners, dealers, vendors, workers, and other stakeholders. This brought the entire bank to the customer.

ICICI Bank is committed to supporting the nation’s transition to a low-carbon economy and contribute towards sustainable growth. The Bank has emphasised financial inclusion and has developed digital products and strategies to improve access to finance for segments like Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and the unbanked rural areas. Lending to sustainable sectors, like renewable energy, is another focus area subject to appropriate assessment of risks and returns.

ICICI Bank Limited released financial results for the three and six months ending September 30, 2022. In comparison to the same period a year prior, the company's net income for the second quarter was INR 80,069.9 million. In comparison to INR 8.79 a year before, basic earnings per share from continuing operations were INR 11.6. From continuing activities, diluted earnings per share were 11.25 Indian rupees as opposed to 8.6 a year earlier. In comparison to INR 108,546.1 million a year before, net income for the six months was INR 153,915.2 million. From ongoing activities, basic earnings per share were INR 22.13 as opposed to INR 15.67 in the prior year. From ongoing operations, diluted earnings per share were INR 21.66 as opposed to INR 15.34.

Seven overseas branches and nine foreign representative offices make up ICICI Bank's global network. The Bank has IFSC Banking Units (IBU) in Gift City and Mumbai, as well as fully owned subsidiaries in the United Kingdom (UK) and Canada. Germany also has a branch of ICICI Bank UK.

A number of Central and State Government departments have joined the Bank in order to ensure prompt distribution of monies and benefits to recipients and implementing organisations via the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) of the Government of India. The Bank is also aiding last-mile implementing organisations and State-level nodal organisations in 28 states to adopt effective Government of India scheme funding releases.

The Bank continued to make progress in fiscal 2022 toward its transformation from a culture of customer satisfaction to a culture of customer joy and advocacy. To encourage mutually beneficial client interactions, the "Fair to Customer, Fair to Bank" principle was emphasised.
