The joint venture, to be executed through Adani Transmission Step-Four (ATSFL), aims to spearhead innovative smart metering projects within India and internationally.
According to details outlined in a regulatory filing, the shareholding structure of the envisioned joint venture is set at 49% for ATSFL and 51% for Esyasoft Holdings. Notably, both entities will enjoy equal participation on the board of directors, ensuring collaborative decision-making and strategic planning for the venture's success.
This pivotal development was formally announced by Adani Energy Solutions on a noteworthy Wednesday. The filing further elucidates that, on the 26th of December, 2023, Adani Energy Solutions, through its wholly-owned subsidiary ATFSL, inked a definitive agreement to solidify the 49:51 joint venture with Esyasoft Holdings. The overarching objective of this venture is to lead the charge in implementing cutting-edge smart metering projects, not only in the Indian market but also on a global scale.
The agreement encompasses various key facets, including the facilitation of licensing by Esyasoft Holdings of intellectual property rights (IPRs) about software products and solutions designed for smart meters and other industrial applications. The envisaged joint venture, comprising ATSFL and EHL, is poised to further develop these products and solutions.
