Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) saw a significant rise in its share price by 7 per cent in early trading on June 6, following the announcement of multiple project wins totalling Rs 515 crore.

The company's stock was trading at Rs 378.25, marking an increase of Rs 24.95, or 7.06 percent, on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) at 09:34 AM.

RVNL received a Letter of Acceptance from Eastern Railway for the construction of the Sitarampur bypass line under the Asansol division of Eastern Railway.

The project, valued at Rs 390.97 crore, is expected to be completed within 24 months.

This development was officially confirmed by the company in a recent press release, highlighting the strategic importance of this infrastructure project for the region.

In addition to this, RVNL emerged as the lowest bidder for a significant project from Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (DHBVN).

This project involves the implementation of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and DMS/OMS (Distribution Management System/Outage Management System) works in Gurugram under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) of DHBVN.

The contract is worth Rs 124.37 crore and is slated for completion within 30 months.

Moreover, on June 3, RVNL secured another major contract worth Rs 440 crore from South Central Railway.

This contract pertains to the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) tender for the proposed doubling of the track between Ankai station and Karanjgaon stations.

The project also includes electrification and signalling works as part of the Aurangabad-Ankai Doubling project in the Nanded division of South Central Railway.

These substantial project wins underscore RVNL's robust capabilities and pivotal role in advancing India's railway infrastructure.

The market's positive response to these developments reflects investor confidence in RVNL's strategic growth trajectory and its ability to secure and execute high-value contracts efficiently.
