PVR INOX Ltd. has launched a new initiative called SCREENIT, which allows movie enthusiasts to curate their own screenings at theatres. This exciting feature lets users select the movie, set the showtime, and choose the location, with a minimum booking of just two tickets. Whether it’s a recent blockbuster, a timeless classic, or a cult favorite, moviegoers can now bring their preferred films to the big screen and enjoy them with friends and family.

As highlighted in an announcement on PVR Cinema’s official website, SCREENIT offers a unique opportunity for people to create personalized movie experiences. The platform allows users to invite loved ones, set the ideal showtime, and earn exciting rewards and cash incentives. This initiative promises to make every movie night special, offering a wide range of films from various languages and genres.

The launch of SCREENIT is seen as a strategic move to address the declining footfall at theatres, while also catering to the evolving preferences of moviegoers. According to media reports, the feature was designed to enhance the overall theatre experience by allowing audiences to curate their own screenings. With a library of over 500 films to choose from, viewers can revisit old favorites, discover new ones, and even organize community-driven screenings.

Users can either create their own customized shows or join those curated by other movie lovers. The price of tickets will remain the same, making it accessible for all. Renaud Pallier, CEO of The Luxury Collection & Innovation at PVR INOX, shared that SCREENIT empowers audiences to schedule, promote, and enjoy films they might not have had the chance to see on the big screen. He emphasized that the initiative is purely beneficial, as it maximizes admissions, offers viral marketing opportunities, and allows viewers to tailor their movie experience while exploring monetising it.
