Ola Electric, India’s leading pure-play electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has kicked off the festive season on a strong note, significantly enhancing its dominance in the two-wheeler EV segment.
According to data from the Vahan portal, as of October 14, the company registered over 15,672 vehicles, capturing an impressive 34 percent market share.
This surge has been primarily driven by Ola’s S1 scooter portfolio and its rapidly expanding service network.
The company is determined to maintain this momentum throughout the festive season, leading up to Diwali. To deepen its market presence, especially in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, Ola Electric has launched several initiatives aimed at improving the after-sales experience.
As part of its #HyperService campaign, Ola plans to double its service centers to 1,000 by December 2024, ensuring customers receive a technology-driven, best-in-class after-sales experience.
Additionally, through its Network Partner Program, Ola aims to onboard 10,000 sales and service partners by the end of 2025.
The company is also focused on equipping the workforce for the EV transition, targeting the training of 100,000 third-party mechanics across India in EV servicing to ensure that technicians nationwide are prepared for the growing demand.
Ola Electric’s S1 portfolio includes six different models, catering to a wide range of customer needs.
Premium offerings like the S1 Pro and S1 Air are priced at Rs 1,34,999 and Rs 1,07,499, respectively, while the mass-market S1 X series starts at Rs 74,999.
At its August 2024 ‘Sankalp’ event, Ola unveiled its Roadster motorcycle series, which features advanced technology and performance.
These motorcycles are available in three variants—Roadster X, Roadster, and Roadster Pro—with prices ranging from Rs 74,999 to Rs 1,99,999
