Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has announced its decision to acquire a 21% stake in E2E Networks through an investment agreement signed on November 5, 2024.

E2E Networks is a leading provider of cloud computing solutions, specializing in CPU and GPU-based platforms that enable large-scale general computing and artificial intelligence (AI) workloads.

This acquisition marks a strategic move for L&T, aligning with its focus on expanding its presence in the rapidly growing sectors of AI and cloud services.

The partnership will provide L&T with enhanced capabilities in these high-demand areas, leveraging E2E Networks' established relationships with key technology providers, including NVIDIA.

In addition to acquiring the stake, L&T intends to enter into several business agreements with E2E Networks, including a software license agreement, reseller agreement, and colocation agreement.

As part of the transaction, L&T will also secure the right to nominate up to two directors to E2E Networks' board.

Furthermore, the agreement includes provisions regarding the transfer of equity shares from the company's promoters, Tarun Dua and Srishti Baweja, ensuring a seamless transition as L&T becomes a key stakeholder in E2E Networks.

This acquisition is seen as a complementary move to strengthen L&T's strategic position in the cloud and AI markets.
