Jubilant FoodWorks, the master franchisee of Domino’s in India, has announced plans to expand its network by 1,000 new outlets over the next three years, bringing the total number of Domino’s locations to 3,000 across the country. The company, which also operates Dunkin’ Donuts and the newly launched Popeyes, currently has 2,000 outlets in India, as reported by Business Standard on March 28.

Sameer Khetarpal, the CEO and Managing Director of Jubilant FoodWorks, expressed confidence in the demand for its brands despite concerns about a potential slowdown in consumption. He believes that recent government measures, including tax breaks in the Budget, the softening of interest rates, and the upcoming 8th Pay Commission, will provide a boost to consumption across India.

Although the company recently reported a 33% drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ending December 31, 2024, which fell to Rs 41 crore from Rs 61 crore in the same period the previous year, Jubilant FoodWorks has continued to see growth in revenue. Its standalone revenue from operations increased by 19%, rising to Rs 1,611 crore in the third quarter, compared to Rs 1,355 crore in the same period last year. The decline in profits was attributed to rising wage costs and increased prices of raw materials like vegetables and meat.
