Jaipur, Feb 11, 2026: The Rajasthan government today presented the Annual Budget for 2026–27, outlining major allocations aimed at boosting basic services, renewable energy and socio-economic development across the state.

Rs 6,800 crore for tap water expansion:
The budget earmarks Rs 6,800 crore to ensure access to piped drinking water across rural and urban areas, under the state’s Jal Jeevan Mission commitment. This includes coverage for both villages and urban households, reinforcing the government’s focus on universal water access. -
Rs 3,000 crore for solar parks:
To accelerate clean energy infrastructure, the state will invest about Rs 2,950–3,000 crore in building large-scale solar parks in Bikaner and Jaisalmer, strengthening Rajasthan’s role as a leader in renewable energy deployment.
